How to Use
Before installation, ensure that the Oxygen cylinder valve is fully closed and that the regulator, cylinder connection, and fittings are clean and suitable for Oxygen service.
Connect the 100-D-OX Oxygen Gas Pressure Regulator securely to the Oxygen cylinder using the correct compatible connection. Keep the pressure adjustment mechanism in the released position before opening the cylinder valve.
Slowly open the Oxygen cylinder valve and check the cylinder pressure on the high-pressure gauge. Gradually adjust the regulator until the required working pressure is shown on the delivery pressure gauge.
Check all connections for leakage using an approved Oxygen-compatible leak-testing method before operation.
After completing the work, close the cylinder valve, safely release the remaining downstream pressure, and return the regulator adjustment mechanism to the released position.
Safety Note: Never use oil, grease, or petroleum-based lubricants on Oxygen regulators, valves, fittings, or connections. Oxygen can react dangerously with oils and combustible materials. The regulator should be handled by trained personnel following applicable gas-handling safety procedures.
