Description

99-D-AC Single Stage Double Gauge Acetylene Gas Pressure Regulator

The 99-D-AC Single Stage Double Gauge Acetylene Gas Pressure Regulator is designed for controlled and reliable regulation of Acetylene (C₂H₂) gas from a gas cylinder to the required working pressure.

Its single-stage pressure reduction system reduces cylinder pressure to a suitable delivery pressure, while the double gauge configuration allows the operator to monitor both the cylinder pressure and the regulated outlet pressure during operation.

Designed for professional welding, cutting, brazing, heating, and fabrication work, the 99-D-AC Acetylene Regulator provides smooth pressure adjustment, dependable gas control, and easy pressure monitoring for industrial applications.

Key Features

  • Specifically designed for Acetylene (C₂H₂) gas
  • Single-stage pressure regulation
  • Double pressure gauge configuration
  • Inlet gauge for monitoring cylinder pressure
  • Outlet gauge for monitoring working pressure
  • Smooth and convenient pressure adjustment
  • Controlled and reliable Acetylene gas delivery
  • Easy-to-read pressure gauges
  • Strong and durable construction
  • Suitable for professional welding and cutting applications
  • Designed for compatible Acetylene cylinders and gas systems

How to Use

Before installation, ensure that the Acetylene cylinder valve is completely closed.

Connect the 99-D-AC Acetylene Gas Pressure Regulator securely to the cylinder using the correct Acetylene-compatible connection. Keep the pressure adjustment mechanism in the released position before opening the cylinder valve.

Slowly open the Acetylene cylinder valve and check the inlet pressure gauge. Gradually adjust the regulator until the required working pressure is displayed on the outlet pressure gauge.

Check all connections for leakage using an approved gas leak-detection solution before starting operation. Never use a flame to check for gas leakage.

After completing the work, close the cylinder valve, safely release the remaining downstream pressure, and return the regulator adjustment mechanism to the released position.

Safety Note: Acetylene is highly flammable and should be handled with proper safety precautions. Acetylene is generally not used at free-gas pressures above 15 psi, approximately 1 bar. Always follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and applicable gas safety procedures.
