Description

26-RF Argon / Carbon Dioxide Regulator Combination for MIG & TIG Welding

The 26-RF Argon / Carbon Dioxide Regulator is a specially designed gas pressure regulator that combines Argon and Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) gas regulation capability in one unit for professional welding applications.

Developed primarily for MIG and TIG welding, the 26-RF provides controlled gas pressure and flow for shielding gas applications. It is suitable for workshops and industrial environments where Argon, CO₂, or compatible welding gas mixtures are used for different welding processes.

The compact combination design helps reduce the need for separate regulator setups, making the 26-RF a practical solution for fabrication shops, engineering industries, welding stations, and maintenance applications.

Key Features

  • Combination regulator for Argon and Carbon Dioxide (CO₂)
  • Designed especially for MIG and TIG welding
  • Suitable for shielding gas welding applications
  • Controlled gas pressure and delivery
  • Convenient pressure adjustment
  • Compact combination design
  • Durable construction for industrial use
  • Easy installation and operation
  • Suitable for fabrication and production welding
  • Designed for professional welding environments
  • Suitable for compatible Argon, CO₂, and approved shielding gas systems

Argon & CO₂ Combination Advantage

The 26-RF is designed to provide greater flexibility for welding operations where different shielding gases may be required.

Argon Applications

Argon is commonly used as a shielding gas for:

  • TIG / GTAW welding
  • Aluminium welding
  • Stainless steel welding
  • MIG welding of non-ferrous metals
  • Precision welding applications

Carbon Dioxide Applications

CO₂ is commonly used for:

  • MIG / MAG welding
  • Mild steel welding
  • Structural fabrication
  • General production welding
  • Heavy fabrication applications

This combination capability makes the 26-RF useful for workshops handling multiple welding processes.

How It Works

High-pressure shielding gas from the compatible cylinder enters the 26-RF regulator, where the pressure is reduced to a suitable level for the welding system.

The operator can then set the required gas delivery according to the welding process, material, welding current, torch configuration, and environmental conditions.

During welding, the regulated gas is supplied to the welding torch, where it forms a protective shielding atmosphere around the weld pool. This helps reduce contamination from atmospheric gases and supports better weld quality.

How to Use

Before installation, make sure the gas cylinder valve is completely closed.

Connect the 26-RF Argon / CO₂ Regulator securely to the appropriate gas cylinder using the correct compatible cylinder connection.

Keep the regulator adjustment mechanism in the released position before slowly opening the cylinder valve.

Connect the gas hose from the regulator outlet to the MIG or TIG welding equipment.

Gradually adjust the regulator to achieve the required pressure or gas-flow setting recommended for the welding process.

Check all gas connections for leakage using an approved gas leak-testing method before starting welding.

After completing the work, close the cylinder valve and safely release the remaining downstream gas pressure.

Important: Argon and CO₂ have different physical properties. Always use the correct connection, flow indication, calibration, and operating procedure specified for the particular gas being used.

Where It Is Used

The 26-RF Argon / CO₂ Welding Regulator is commonly used in:

  • MIG / GMAW welding
  • MAG welding
  • TIG / GTAW welding
  • CO₂ shielded welding
  • Argon shielded welding
  • Mild steel fabrication
  • Stainless steel welding
  • Aluminium welding
  • Metal fabrication workshops
  • Structural fabrication
  • Automobile workshops
  • Engineering industries
  • Manufacturing plants
  • Production welding lines
  • Industrial maintenance workshops

Product Application

The 26-RF Argon / Carbon Dioxide Regulator Combination is suitable for professional welders, fabrication companies, engineering workshops, manufacturing plants, automobile workshops, and maintenance departments requiring a versatile shielding gas regulator for MIG and TIG welding applications.

Its ability to support Argon and Carbon Dioxide applications in a single regulator platform makes it a practical choice for workshops that perform different types of welding work.
